Kiwifruit Almond Green Smoothie

Kiwifuit is a kiwi classic, commonly also found as a topping on your classic pavlova! It’s not just an ordinary fruit – it’s a powerhouse of antioxidants. It’s known as the Chinese Gooseberry as it originated in China but found it’s way to NZ in the early 1900s. It’s high in vitamin C and a good source of Dietary fibre. Try this Kiwifruit Almond Green Smoothie – it’s packed with nutrients with a hit of protein from Almond Butter.

Ingredients

Flesh of 4 kiwifruit

1/2 cup Organic Coconut Cream

1/2 cup water

2 fair trade bananas

1 tbsp Almond Butter in Conversion to Organic

1 tsp Organic Maple Syrup

Pinch of cinnamon

4 silverbeet leaves

Squeeze of lemon

Method

1. Prepare all your ingredients.
2. Blitz everything in your blender.
3. Serve – easy peasy!
