CHAMOMILE COCONUT MANGO SMOOTHIE

Tea in a smoothie? Yes, why not!

This smoothie uses chamomile tea, which is known for it’s calming properties, making it the perfect way to either start a day or end a hectic one! Here we are using Pukka Three Chamomile tea here which is made from certified organic chamomile flowers. Its delicate flavour isn’t overpowering, making it perfect for use in smoothies, and it goes particularly well with the vanilla also included.

This smoothie is simple, refreshing and totally delicious and the addition of the coconut milk makes it a perfectly satiating healthy afternoon snack.

Ingredients

¼ cup filtered water

1 bag Three Chamomile Tea

¼ cup Organic Coconut Milk

1 ripe mango, peeled and cut

1 banana, peeled, cut and frozen

¼ teaspoon Organic Vanilla Extract

handful of ice

Method

Boil filtered water and steep chamomile tea for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag and chill in the freezer for about 15 minutes.

Scoop out the fat that has separated from the liquid from the can of coconut milk and process in a blender with all other ingredients, until rich and creamy.
